Will you ever forget?
Today's date is September 11, 2009. It's been 8 years since the attacks on our country which caused the entire world to watch as the World Trade Center collapsed and thousands of people lost their lives, in both the towers and the planes that were hijacked.
I will never forget that day... where I was when I heard the news, and how I felt as I watched the video footage of the tragedy. I remember trying to explain to my 5 year old daughter what was going on without scaring her, and how I had to pick her up from school early because she had fallen down and scraped up her face, hands and knees.
It was a bad day all around, and one I wish had never happened.
But I will always remember.
