Another year older
At 10:30 pm, I will turn 41. I'm thankful for a lot of things, especially that this birthday doesn't hurt nearly as bad as the last one. Having that 3 turn to a 4 was excruciatingly painful. Having a 0 turn to a 1? Not so much! That's a good thing.
I'm also thankful for the life God has given me and the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm thankful for my family, my friends and for my precious daughter who brings me joy every single day.
And I'm thankful to still be breathing. As my friend Peggy says, at least I'm still on the top side of the grass!
We turn not older with years, but newer every day.
